1 cup whole wheat flour (plus a tablespoon or two for kneading)
1 cup warm water
1 teaspoon dry active yeast
1 Tablespoon of coconut oil (or any other oil)
2 teaspoons honey
a pinch of salt
How to make:
Add the yeast and honey to the warm water and stir. Set aside for about three minutes or until a foam layer appears. Whist the flour and salt in a medium bowl. Add the yeast mixture and oil to the bowl. Using your hands mix everything until it starts to get doughy. Continue to knead until the dough is elasticity and sticky. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place on top of a warm surface until the dough doubles in size (about 45 minutes).
